End of year credit card summaries, do they have any real value in a contested divorce?
This question began as an irritant several year ago while I was in pursuit of a series of financial records, specifically credit card summaries. The client, not quite satisfied with just the monthly statements, insisted on having the summaries because of the categories. Annoyed I ask the client why, because the categories are not created for divorce and I was curious about what they hoping to find that was worth more of my time.
Don't get me wrong, I believe the summaries can provide broad overview that can be helpful in civil matrimonial divorces but anything short of this is a waste of time.
